We’ve made it to Friday, once again. I don’t know about you, but I’m getting excited about Thanksgiving…it’s a great time of year to have fun with friends and/or family and eat some great food together! I have already started preparing and shared two recipes this week so far on the GrillingOutdoorRecipes.com website. My Skillet Cornbread Pudding recipe makes a really nice side dish for your holiday dinner. My second recipe, Lemon and Honey Turkey Brine, will help keep your turkey moist and delicious.
These are a few of my favorite links from all over the Interwebs from this week. I hope you enjoy them as well!
Trojan Pride! I have quite a few USC tailgating memories… mostly can’t mention them here. Fight On, ‘SC!!

This goes against everything that you learn in cooking school. That said, I think he’s on to something. It makes sense that slowing down fermentation of sourdough would produce a tangier taste. I’m going to give it a try.
Great advice! My books: cookbooks (obviously), food writing, photography, architecture, how-to’s – upholstery and home DIY, design, art, travel and bulldogs

Food Republic Roy Choi Is No One-Taco Wonder
I saw Roy Choi and Anthony Bourdain speak together earlier this year here in LA. It was an amazing and enlightening evening. He’s right, we need to pull our collective heads out of our asses and address this nation’s hunger issue.
Here’s to a great Friday and an even better weekend! Peace ~ J
